The long-awaited trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, has been revealed with the movie to release on December 15th, 2017.

The trailer starts with various scenic landscape shots, quickly switching to show Rey on the ground. We then see more landscapes and hear the voice of who we presume is Luke Skywalker, although nothing is given away. After, there are images of the Jedi Order symbol and Rey wielding a lightsaber on a cliff-front. It wouldn’t be Star Wars without spaceships, androids, and explosions and Lucasfilm kindly oblige, with the Millennium Falcon, BB-8, and plenty of explosions shortly after Rey’s training scene. While the meaning is unclear for now, it promises to be an exciting watch for all audiences, with its share of action and more plot revelations.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is coming to the big screens December 2nd this year, so there remains some time until the release. However, it looks to maintain the legacy of the Star Wars franchise with style and grace with its new logo and teaser.

Stay tuned for December!
