Challenger Series

Cloud9 wants to take another crack at the League of Legends Challenger circuit. According to an announcement from one of their partners, Red Bull, the organization desires to build up the North American talent for League of Legends (LoL). This will be Cloud9’s third team in this particular circuit. Their two previous teams, Cloud9 Tempest and Cloud9 Challenger, had mixed results. This new squad will have big names from throughout the seasons, though the roster is tentative and subject to change. Some of these well-known players include:

Hai “Hai” Du Lam

Daerek “LemonNation” Hart

An “Balls” Le

These three particular players will also act as substitutes for Cloud9’s main roster for the League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) during the Summer Split. LemonNation will be at the helm as the team’s coach, while Hai is in the process of recruiting additional talent to solidify the roster.
