With Halloween around the corner, October is the perfect time of the year to play horror games.
From the team behind Until Dawn, comes Until Dawn: Rush of Blood. This VR experience teleports the players in a twisted universe where they will get on a terrifying roller coaster ride. The objective of the game is to survive through the different levels of the ride by shooting at enemies. While this doesn’t sound as scary as it looks, this game is certain to scare any of those who fear clowns. With it’s carnival themed ambiance, it is a game to enjoy for a horror themed night!
Stay Close is a horror game arriving to Steam this month, but it was first in ‘Greenlight’ this time last year. This game is developed by Blind Bird and already has the attention of many players. Unfortunately, it was delayed a little while ago, but its current release date is now October 14th. This game will be an open-world horror game with the options of a single player mode and a co-op mode. The players are brought into the story of a couple who stumbles into an odd town and are struggling to find a way out. Stay Close already looks promising!
Yomawari is an interesting horror game and is making waves. With it’s unique and cute style, this is the story of a young girl who was walking her dog, an incident happens to her pet. When she gets home, her sister decides to run off to find the animal. Since it is getting dark and her sister still has not come back, the little girl decides to go after her. However, at night, things look different, this is not the city that she remembers. Already available for pre-order, this game will be coming out on Steam and PS Vita right in time for Halloween!
