The Season 6 of Diablo is almost here, providing us once again with a reason to revisit the world of Sanctuary. As usual, you will be rewarded for leveling up your seasonal character and by finishing the tasks in the Season Journey. Nothing game breaking has been added this season, but there are some interesting changes worth mentioning, as well as a good amount of cosmetic rewards. The season officially starts April 29th at 5:00 PM PDT.

Game Balance

Patch 2.4.1 as been release April 26th in preparation for the new Season. While the changes to the classes themselves are very minor, most of the balancing was done on the items. One of their top priority as always been to make sure every class has a wide variety of viable builds and play-styles. In order to achieve that, the most popular and effective builds are often nerfed, while the less used ones tend to get some positive changes. I wont go into much detail, but the entire patch can be found here.

Cosmetic Rewards

As usual, there are some exclusive things you might want to add to your collection. By leveling up to 70, you automatically gain access to two pieces of the Conqueror’s Transmogrification Set (the chest armor and the gloves). By reaching a certain milestone in your Season Journey, you receive the portrait frame, and by completing the whole thing, you gain access to this awesome pennant as see above.

During your travels you might encounter a rare new creature: the Menagerist Goblin. This little pest can drop new pets for you to collect. Other very cool cosmetics can be found all across Sanctuary. For more information about those, click here.

Diablo 3 Seasonal Rewards

Haedrig’s Gift

Just like last Season, completing your Season  Journey will reward you with a complete armor set for your class. You won’t gain them all at the same time, instead, you win them by completing specific things:

  • Chapter III: Reach Level 70
  • Chapter IV: Defeat Izual at level 70 on Torment II or higher
  • Chapter IV: Complete a Greater Rift Level 20 solo.

The sets are different from Season 5 and are among the most powerful you can find:

  • Barbarian: Legacy of Raekor
  • Crusader: Armor of Akkhan
  • Demon Hunter: Embodiment of the Marauder
  • Monk: Inna’s Mantra
  • Witch Doctor: Zunimassa’s Haunt
  • Wizard: Delsere’s Magnum Opus

There are lots of cool things to get in this brand new season! If you want to be part of the challenge, keep in mind that Season 6 officially begins April 29th at 5:00 PM PDT.
