Gamescom 2017 ‘Before the Storm’ Trailer

Fans of the story based game Life Is Strange released by Dontnod Entertainment would recall an announcement from a few months back about a new voice actor for Chloe Price. Her name is Rhianna DeVries and while she is not Ashly Burch, playing the character will still feel authentic to the story. Despite the Screen Actors Guild‐American Federation of Television (SAG-AFT) strike, Ashly took on a role of consultant and writer for Before the Storm. Fans will have to wait for what is in-store both for the game and this voice actress’ credits.

How about the trailer? Well, fans get to see many familiar faces like Nathan Prescott, David Madsen, and Rachel Amber. The focal point in this story is the relationship between Chloe and Rachel in the wake of Chloe’s dad’s death. Like any teenager faced with a new parental figure, she has issues with her new stepdad. Another point of note: fans may recall that Chloe once attended Blackwell High School before Max Caulfield. This speaks to more potential conflicts.

Knowing these key elements allow for many moving parts ranging from complicated relationships to informing fans about the real reason Chloe left Blackwell. Before the Storm alludes to a family secret which sets forth some of the upcoming conflicts.

Furthermore, it is a known fact that the rewind power is not a feature of this game. Which is just as well since messing with time generally causes more problems than it solves.

Here is the new trailer for Before the Storm.
