Patriots fans unite, EA announced the newest installment to the franchise, Madden 18 is coming this summer. And on the cover is no one other than, Mr. Tom Brady. Who is honored and a frequent player of Madden. In recent years, NFL players have a superstition of who gets to appear on the cover of the newest Madden, it can be a curse or good luck.
“The ‘Madden NFL 18’ cover is a great honor for me,” Brady said. “Especially since I have been playing the game since growing up next to EA headquarters in the Bay area. I’m not one to believe in curses, so I’m ready to take the challenge head on like always! It doesn’t stand a chance!”
See Madden 18 in a new light with new ways to play. In Madden 18, players can partake in weekly NFL matchups by using the latest rosters, custom commentary, and live stats from NFL.com. Play through the season all the way up to the Super Bowl via Play Now.
This time around in Madden 18 select three new play-styles that cater to each matchup allowing for plenty of room to specify unique matchups. Along with new unique play styles comes new target passing, you can now throw the ball to anyone you want giving you control over the field. Adjust your coaching AI to tailor your game plan needs and allow for situational changes on the fly as you see fit.
On top of it all, there will be a Franchise mode where players have full control via the Madden Companion smart phone app. Play weekly games and decided whether to play as just offense, defense, or from key moments.
Last but not least, players can get in on the hype early by pre-ordering the G.O.A.T (Greatest Of All Time) Edition. Via EA, included in the G.O.A.T Edition, players can get started on day one with five “Elite G.O.A.T players, an Elite player from your favorite NFL team, 12 squad packs, 2500 contracts, and one uniform pack.” Included in these perks, players will get three early days of full game play via the Madden NFL 18: G.O.A.T Edition.
