Red Crow

Operation Red Crow is the last of the season’s updates for Rainbow Six Siege this year, closing out Season One of add-ons and downloadable content packages (DLC’s). Red Crow is set to bring to life a new map based in Japan called “Skyscraper”. The new map looks to be making full use of the game’s vertical elements, allowing for rappelling and grappling hooks to reach tactical locations.

“Season Pass” holders will be able to access the content as soon as it is released, including all new operators and maps for 7 days before all regular players, who will be able to access the new content on the 24th November. In addition to all of the new content, “Elite Sets” are being introduced as a full customization series featuring new cosmetic items, victory animations and more. The first operators to receive Elite Sets are Kaplan, Sledge and Thermite.

Operators

The first of the 2 new operators, Yumiko “Hibana” Imagawa is joining the Rainbow Six roster as a member of Japan’s elite Special Assault Team (S.A.T). Hibana is set to excel at close ranges, using the SuperNova and Type-89 primary weapons, giving her excellent room-to-room clearing potential.

The second new operator is Masaru “Echo” Enatsu. Echo, like Hibana is a member of the S.A.T, rumored to embody Japan’s influence on modern technology, this operator is likely to use a variety of complex gadgets to skew the battle in his favor. Similarly to Hibana, Echo carries a SuperNova as a primary along with the MP5SD4. Echo is said to be a operator designed around cleverly prepared, yet swiftly executed engagements.
