Last night, February 23rd, 2017 the beautiful city of Las Vegas, Nevada hosted the D.I.C.E. Game Awards. Here is a recap of the winners and the nominations for each category.

D.I.C.E. Game Awards Recap

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End was nominated for ten awards and won four. They are:

  • Outstanding Technical Achievement
  • Outstanding Achievement in Story
  • Outstanding Achievement in Animation
  • Adventure Game of the Year

The game Inside was nominated for nine categories and won three awards including:

  • Outstanding Achievement in Game Direction
  • Outstanding Achievement in Art Direction
  • D.I.C.E. Sprite Award

Overwatch was not walking away without awards. It was nominated for six and won four. They are:

  • Game of the Year
  • Outstanding Achievement in Game Design
  • Outstanding Achievement in Online Gameplay
  • Action Game of the Year

Battlefield 1

The Last Guardian won one category for the character named “Trico.”

  • Win: Outstanding Achievement in Character
  • Nominations: 7

Eagle Flight

  • Win: Immersive Reality Technical Achievement
  • Nominations: 1

Firewatch and Titanfall 2 were the games that had six and four nominations respectively but sadly didn’t win any award.
