After an exciting, nail biting, and intense grand finals in RLCS, Psyonix announces a new update for their second year anniversary on July 5th.

Adding More Boost to Rocket League

Over the last couple of years, we’ve seen Psyonix release new cars, arenas, toppers, flags, and crates. The esport scene has gained traction and isn’t stopping anytime soon. In this second year of Rocket League, Psyonix will be releasing even more amazing features and updates. Some of these additions are highlighted here, but all the information can be found on the Rocket League website.

Only July 5th, players kick off year two with a new stadium called “Champions Field”, available in Competitive, Casual, and Private matches. It comes out just in time for Independence Day in the United States, and the 150th anniversary of Canada!

Next, there is a new crate type called ‘Overdrive’, containing things like animated decals, new trails, and two new Battle-Cars featured below:

Season Five also includes rocket trails for all skill tiers. To top it all off, Rocket League will be getting a more expansive music library, with 18 brand new tracks being added to the game. These hits are all EDM Monstercat songs, and adds to the collection of fantastic tunes already in the game. It also allows for copyright-free streaming.

Blazing to the End

With an amazing two years of Rocket League, Psyonix has once again stepped into the ring to give fans what they want. There’s plenty of customization, more arenas, and more cars to choose from.

Now head on into the arena and practice for next season, and check out this trailer in the meantime:
