Monday June 13th, Matt Stone and Trey Parker, the masterminds behind South Park announced a new game, South Park: The Fractured But Whole an RPG. We’ll let you say that a few times over.

The game takes place the day after the hilarity that was South Park: The Stick of Truth. The Fractured But Whole sequel starts out with the gang playing “super heroes”. With Cartman attempting to lead the group as the infamous “Coon”, we will see appearances from Mysterion, Professor Chaos, and more.

Coon & Friends!
Character Creation
Just as we did in the Stick of Truth, you’ll be able to customize your super hero’s costume but with a bit more customization. We will be able to choose your super hero’s origin story and build out special super powers. I have a feeling the fart attacks will be back.
Gameplay
In The Fractured But Whole, players are able to “recruit up to 13 members of Coon and Friends to your cause, including Mysterion, The Human Kite, and the infamous Coon himself.
The new South Park game has a revamped combat system, some of the weaknesses that Stick of Truth had have certainly been vetted allowing for more room to actually physically play the game.
  • Space: A component that allows you to not be restricted to one position during combat, players can move behind cover, push & pull enemies or get pushed, and knock them into props for extra attack power.
  • Time:In the first game your farts were so legendary, now your farts are so powerful you can use them to rip the fabric of time itself.” Wow!
Pre-order The Fractured But Whole and players will get the Stick of Truth for free, now. Matt & Trey weren’t kidding, “Everything is bigger, longer, and goes deeper than before. Come on down to South Park and have yourself a time.”
We’re pumped.
