With 2016 in the books, we wanted to take the time to highlight our fellow EloTalk Streamers. We caught up with our streamers who reflected on their past year as well what they are looking forward to in the new year coming!
Aoina is a streamer, who… well, likes to play games – as she claims on her Twitch page she doesn’t just play video games for her viewers. She often streams creative content of her art and has plans to include cosplay in future streams. The variety of streaming has left her with some great moments from 2016.
One of Aoina’s favorite memories was when she first went live on Twitch in late summer, streaming the beta of Dead By Daylight – which ended up being her favorite game of the year. She got well over a hundred viewers and many of her regulars today discovered her during that time. Another cherished moment can be found on her YouTube, where a mod from her channel surprises Aoina with the custom built PC rig her community banded together to buy for her.
In 2017, Aoina is most excited for the multitude of horror games coming out such as Outlast 2 and Resident Evil 7. When asked what her goals are for the coming year, Aoina had this to say, “I’d love to be able to take my streaming a step further in 2017. Every streamer dreams of that shiny subscribe button but truthfully, I most want to save enough money to travel and visit the friends I’ve made through the twitch community.”
And as for what she would say to you:
“Keep on trucking. If things are rough, this too shall pass, and I got faith that you’ll achieve whatever you set your mind to, and if you need someone in your corner, well you know where to find me.”
Stream Highlights in 2016
In 2017, Rachel is looking forward to Star Wars: Battlefront 2 as it reminds her of playing the original on PS2 with her brothers. Her streaming goals is to really start building a community in her Twitch with consistent viewers as she really wants to get to know her viewers. She recently had a position change at work which will allow her to do more frequent but shorter streams.
Here’s the message she wanted to pass on to our readers,
“I am incredibly thankful to the EloTalk Community for their friendship, support and for helping me grow tremendously in the past year. Communities like this are very hard to come by and I am so thankful to be part of it.”

Tiana a.k.a Strixly, a variety streamer likes to play games like Left 4 Dead 2, Astrooneer and Smite. Juggling streaming with school in 2016 has kept her busy, however, Strixly streams as much as possible. Her favorites games to play last year were Skyrim and Overwatch. She’s excited to have reached the 1000 followers mark in 2016 and is looking for it to grow even further in the new year.
In 2017 she is excited and looking forward to playing more indie games as well to be able to stream more often and consistently.
“You guys are truly the best and I appreciate each and everyone of you.”
Stream Highlights in 2016
Eric is variety streamer, playing games such as Grand Theft Auto V, Doom and World of Warcraft. His favorite games in 2016 include Golf with Friends, Rocket League and Killing Floor 2 as he was able to play with friends and other streamers. His most memorable streaming moment was playing the ending of Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, as it was a very emotional moment and uplifting at the same time.
The most anticipated game for Eric in 2017 is Playtonic Games’ Yooka-Laylee, as it is said to be the spiritual successor to Banjo-Kazooie which is one of his favorite series on the Nintendo64. His streaming goals for the year is to provide a higher quality stream experience by hopefully moving to a place where he can set up a studio like place as well as upgrading his streaming rig.
When asked what he would like to say to our readers, Eric chose to bestow words of wisdom:
“There’s enough negativity in the world… be the positive change you want to see. Be awesome to one another, and I promise you’ll see a difference. I know it’s cliche, but it’s become a cliche for a reason. Don’t fall into the trap of the negative cycle.”
Evan would like to send our readers a message,
“I hope you all enjoy the content that we at EloTalk produce and hope y’all continue viewing our content.”
Here at EloTalk, we’d like to thank everyone who’s tuned in and followed our fellow streamers! 2016 was a fantastic year of growth for us and we’re continuing these efforts going forward!
