Adding Games Workshop’s Warhammer universe to Creative Assembly’s sixteen year old turned based strategy Total War series has proved to be a huge success. Sega announced through press release that the game sales number has been doing very well selling over 500,000 units in the first three days and is currently, according to Steam, reaching 100,000 existing players.
Total War: Warhammer has already proven itself as a runaway commercial success and more importantly we know our players are really enjoying the game – Tim Heaton, Studio Director of Creative Assembly

Total War: Warhammer is also getting some positive reviews on Metacritic getting an 86% based on 53 critics. This is good news for Sega who’s 2015 fiscal were not great as it reported losses of 76 Million on operation losses and 63.8 million on net losses according to Sega Sammy Holdings and only 426 million in sales earning which caused the company to downsize and relocate last year as part of company restructuring. If you’re a fan of the Total War series or turn based strategy this seems like the game for you, those who have purchase it before May 31st you get Chaos Warriors Pack free. Total War: Warhammer is now available for PC with MAC and SteamOS to follow.
